How must laboratory-grown diamonds be described when they are sold?

CIBJO's guideline prefers the term “laboratory-grown diamond”; “laboratory-created” and “synthetic” are also accepted1. The qualifier must come immediately before the word “diamond” and be equally conspicuous1. Words such as “natural”, “real” or “genuine” must not be used to describe them1.

Clear about what it knows

Anything from the model's general knowledge is marked as such. It will not guess future prices or grade a stone it cannot see.

Choose a model

One library, several minds.

Signed-in users choose which model they talk to. Every model uses the same library, under the same rules, and shows its sources; they differ in style and speed.
